JKECC lists demands for govt employees

Srinagar 24Aug: Jammu and Kashmir Employees Coordination Committee, an umbrella organisation of 22 departmental organizations including education, social welfare, ICD, Tourism, higher education, handicrafts, forest, health, medical education, R&B, RDD and others held press conference here at Kashmir Press Club in Srinagar today.
President, JKECC, Shah Fayaz while addressing the media, said that they have come up with 6 agendas for the issues that employees are facing.
Alleging that many officers run their department through WhatsApp, they have demanded administration for the complete reshuffle and transfer of officers from district to top level offices who have completed 2 years.
The other agendas include concrete steps for resolving issues of daily wagers, CPWs, full health allowance to Asha workers-frontline Covid workers, who played vital role in vaccination process, resolution of pending SRO cases,
To have early resolution of genuine issues, like College contractual lecturers issue, ICDS supervisors salary issue, Transfer policy of G2 & G3 teachers, TA, payment of wages to casual labours from various departments and enhancement of salaries of NYCS, JKECC demanded formation of high level committee for addressing grievances of employees of J&K.
