Kitchloo demands creation of post of Addl DC Padder

KISHTWAR, Jul 7: Senior National Conference leader Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo today demanded from Governor for immediate creation of the post of Additional Deputy Commissioner for Padder, because the inhabitants of Padder areas cannot travel more than 70 kms to reach Kishtwar for administrative work.
He said that huge land mass need an administrative convenience and Government should concede the demands of the local masses at an earliest.
This he stated while conducting the public rally at far-flung areas of Padder block.
Kichloo said that most of the population living in hilly and rural areas and they are not getting their basic amenities like Ration, Water and Electricity in a routine way because they faced lot of problems due to the unawareness and illiteracy and apart from this, some influential people also creates hurdles in their path of development, so it is a need of the hour and matter of concern.
During the course of the visit, the poor villagers complaint about several problems. Many people complaint that name of several BPL families are missing from the BPL list and the ration cards issued to them are APL category. They told Kichloo that several people were not paid MGNREGA and the works on new plan was yet to begin despite the fact that limited season were left out for the year 2018-2019 added that the department is yet to clear the previous financial year payments to job card holders.
Moreover, Kitchloo appeal the Governor that for Administrative convenience, the Additional District Magistrate is the cry of the hour.
Those who accompanied Kichloo included Inderjeet sen (State Secretary), Altaf Hussain Mintoo,Doulat Ram, Kartar Singh Rathore, Mool Raj Sarpanch, Narinder Singh, Arvind, Bodh Raj, Gulam Mohd, Rattan Singh, Gurdesh, Rabinder and others.
