Azad in Bhaderwah to mourn aunt’s demise

DODA, Jan 9: The Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha and former Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad visited Bhaderwah on Wednesday to attend special prayer (4th day) of his aunt Begum Fatima Azad, who died on January 6 after brief illness.
Azad reached Bhaderwah at around 2:15 PM and spent around two hours with his relatives. He also visited graveyard, where he participated in the special prayers.
He was accompanied by ex minister Ghulam Mohammed Saroori, ex Minister Abdul Majeed Wani, MLC Naresh Kumar Gupta and senior leader Mohammed Aslam Goni.
Begum Fatima Azad, aunt of Azad, passed away at her native village at Bhaderwah on Sunday morning after brief illness and was buried in her ancestral graveyard at village Chakka, Bhaderwah.
Large number of people came there to meet son of the soil Ghulam Nabi Azad.
