Porter killed in ceasefire violation at Sunderbani

NOWSHERA, Jan 11: Two Army men were killed in a low intensity explosion on Line of Control in Nowshera, while a Porter also lost his life in the ceasefire violation at Sunderbani in Rajouri district on Friday.
Col Anand, Army PRO Jammu told that explosion took place when an army vehicle was moving in forward LoC area of Lam Nowshera.
In this explosion, two army personnel included one officer were injured, they said, adding that the injured were shifted to nearby medical attention center from where one was referred to command hospital Udhampur in critical condition. Later both army men succumbed to their injuries at command hospital Udhampur.
Sources further divulged that nature of explosion is not fully clear but it can be an explosive device planted on LoC to target troops.
In another incident of unprovoked ceasefire violation by Pakistan troops in Sunderbani Sector, an Army Porter named Hemraj was shot at & grievously injured. The individual was provided immediate resuscitation and medical aid, however, he later succumbed to the gunshot wounds. The Army authorities have promised all possible assistance to the family of martyred Army Porter.
