Pak targets forward posts in Poonch, shelling in Kirni

JAMMU, Nov 12: After a lull of few days Pakistan army once again violates ceasefire in Qasba and Kirni Sector of Poonch District.
Rhydhempreet Singh, a local of Nangali said Pakistani Army resorted to small arms firing targeting forward posts and villages along the Line of Control in Qasba and Kirni Sector of Poonch.
He said this afternoon all of a certain Pakistani army resorted to light weapons shelling in our village he said shelling created a sense of insecurity among us as we are visiting Gurudwara nangali Sahib to pay obeisance their on the occasion of 550 Birth Anniversary of Guru nanak Dev Ji.
Army said Pakistan violated ceasefire by resorting to Light Weapons shelling and firing along the LoC in Qasba sector of Poonch district.
Police said this afternoon at around 03.45 PM Pakistani Army opens unprovoked fire on civilian areas and Indian forward posts along LoC in Qasba & Kirni Sector which was continued till this time.
Defense PRO Col. Devinder Anand said this this afternoon at around 03.45 AM Pak initiated cease fire violation in Qasba & Kirni Sector of District Poonch (J&K). Indian Army retaliated befittingly and exchange of fire continued.
