Modi stubmbles; falls down at Ganga Ghat

KANPUR, Dec 14(Agencies): Prime Minister Narendra Modi missed a step at Kanpur's Atal ghat and fell down on stairs. He quickly recovered himself and back on his feet. The Prime Minister had gone to inspect the cleanliness of the river Ganga under the Namami Gange Project.
A video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi slipping and falling down is going viral on the social media.
In the video, the prime minister, who was at Atal Ghat in Kanpur, is seen stumbling and falling down as he climbs up the stairs. The security guards who were with the prime minister reach to his aid and help him get up.
Posting the video on Twitter, a user wrote: Narendra Modi stumbling, like our Economy.
“Narendra Modi demonstrating what he did with the economy,” wrote another.
Modi had, along with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath taken, a boat ride in the river Ganga at Atal Ghat. According to media reports, earlier on the day, the prime minister chaired the first meeting of the National Ganga Council (NGC), which is aimed at reinforcing the importance of a 'Ganga-centric' approach in all departments of the concerned states as well as Central ministries.
