HM, JeM top leadership eliminated in Kashmir: Lt Gen Dhillon

SRINAGAR, Jan 25: Chinar Corps Commander Lt General KJS Dhillon said that on Saturday the Hizbul Mujahideen and Jaish-e-Mohammed's (JeM) top leadership, other than one militant, has been eliminated from Kashmir Valley as of today.
Lt General KJS Dhillon said, “Today morning we got information of some Jaish-e-Mohammed militants who were planning to do some act of terrorism on January 26 in Tral. So, today morning the operation was launched. The operation is still underway.”
The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday said that JeM's self-styled Kashmir chief Qari Yasir was among three militants killed in encounter in Tral in South Kashmir. Earlier in the day, one jawan was injured in an encounter between security forces and JeM terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Tral. The injured jawan was rushed to a nearby Army hospital.
