Indian Political Parties are doing great harm to both Jammu and Kashmir and the rest of India by trying to create misgivings about the region, by celebrating their disempowerment, says senior journalist Nayeema Ahmad with Mehjoor in an interview to Kashmir Times. People in Jammu and Kashmir are already in despair that they have lost their rights, their special status, and statehood. They voted enthusiastically in elections, and reposed faith in the democratic process but the hybrid regime that makes it difficult for the government to deliver will further deepen their disappointment and frustration. If this continues, things can take a nasty turn.
