PaJK Crisis: JKJAAC Movement and Breaking Down The Agreement With Pakistan Government

Has Pakistan-administered Jammu and Kashmir won autonomy, or has Islamabad’s Ministry of Kashmir Affairs once again been invited to interfere in its affairs?

In Conversation with Anuradha Bhasin, Managing Editor, Kashmir Times, Dr Raja Qaiser Ahmed, an expert on PaJK affairs, speaks about the recent Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee (JKJAAC) agreement with the Pakistan government and the government of Pakistan-administered Jammu Kashmir, following a violent crisis that left 12 civilians and 3 security men dead.

Describing it as a positive development, even though a little delayed, Dr Qaiser sees in the JKJAAC Movement a template that could be successfully followed by civil rights movements globally. Breaking down the agreement's clauses, he is optimistic of its positive impact but a little cautious.
